Cabernet Franc
Our cooler eastern rows ripen Cabernet Franc slowly, holding the aromatic high notes that make this grape sing. Two years in barrel, a third of it new, frames the fruit without burying the wine’s characteristic savory edge.
Deep crimson, dense to the rim.
Cassis, pencil shaving, dried tobacco leaf, crushed bay.
Structured and cool-spirited, with chalky tannin and dark-fruit depth.
Firm and graphite-streaked, built to soften over a decade.
Dry-aged ribeye, or wild mushrooms over soft polenta.
